Terms of Service
Version 1.0 — Effective May 2026
Plain-language summary: OjasVault is a personal health data tool, not a medical service. You own your data, you can delete it any time, and we never sell it. These terms exist to be honest about what we are and to protect both of us. The full details are below.
1. Who we are
OjasVault is a personal health data platform operated by OjasVault LLC ("OjasVault", "we", "us", "our"). We help individuals store, track, and understand their blood panel results over time using automated trend analysis and AI-powered insights.
2. What OjasVault does — and does not do
OjasVault is a software tool, not a healthcare provider. We surface patterns in your own lab data to help you ask better questions and track long-term trends — we do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe or recommend treatments, or replace the clinical judgement of a qualified physician.
Nothing displayed in OjasVault constitutes medical advice. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider before making any decision about your health.
OjasVault is not a HIPAA covered entity (we are a consumer application, not a healthcare provider, health plan, or clearinghouse, and we do not provide services under a Business Associate Agreement). We nonetheless treat your health data with equivalent care — see our Privacy Policy.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account.
- You may hold only one account. Creating duplicate accounts to circumvent plan limits is prohibited.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You may not share access to your account with others.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for abuse, fraud, non-payment, or violation of these terms, with or without prior notice.
4. Your data
You own everything you upload. We store and process your data solely to provide the OjasVault service to you. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your individual health data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the service.
You may delete your account — and all associated data — at any time from Settings → Close Account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. See our Privacy Policy for retention timelines.
5. Payments and refunds
- Subscriptions are billed annually via Stripe. Your payment method is stored by Stripe — we never see your card details.
- Founding Member pricing is locked at the rate active at the time of your first paid subscription, for as long as your subscription remains continuously active.
- If your subscription lapses and you resubscribe, founding member rates may no longer apply at our discretion.
- Annual subscriptions cancelled within 14 days of the billing date are eligible for a pro-rated refund of unused whole months.
- Beta period users are converted to the free plan at beta expiry. No refund is issued for unused free beta days.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload health records that are not your own
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, copy, or resell any part of the OjasVault service
- Use OjasVault for commercial purposes (e.g., as a tool in a clinical or healthcare business) without our prior written consent
- Attempt to bypass invite codes, plan limits, or other access controls
- Submit false or misleading information during signup
7. Intellectual property
The OjasVault application, design, algorithms, and content (excluding your uploaded data) are owned by OjasVault LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
8. Limitation of liability
OjasVault is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including that it is error-free, accurate, or medically complete. We are not liable for any health decisions made based on information displayed in OjasVault.
Our maximum aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from your use of OjasVault is limited to the total amount you paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.
In no event shall OjasVault LLC or its officers, directors, or employees be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages — including loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Changes to these terms
We will notify you by email and update the version date on this page before any material change takes effect. If you continue using OjasVault after a change is announced, you accept the updated terms. If you disagree with a change, you may close your account before it takes effect.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, with proceedings conducted in English.
You waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration with respect to any claim arising from these terms or your use of OjasVault.
